A.B.C.D armchair

A.B.C.D. is the new version of the iconic A.B.C. armchair produced in 1996, updated thanks to major technical modifications. The base is in metal, the padding in expanded polyurethane, covered in leather or fabric. The metal armrest of A.B.C has been eliminated for a softer appearance. The chair relies on a sophisticated mechanism that slides the seat forward for maximum comfort. The idea of the low seat that rests on the ground is still contemporary, along with the snug fit of the large cushions inside the cubical form suggested by the metal platform. The Osservatorio Permanente del Design has selected A.B.C.D. for theADI Design Index 2015, the prestigious nomination for the Compasso d’Oro Award 2016.
