Victor Vasilev was born in Bulgaria in 1974, moved to Israel at fifteen, and came to Milan in 1996 to study architecture. He has worked there since, across architecture, interiors and product design.
His pieces are quiet and precise, usually reduced to the fewest parts that will do the job, and they tend to hide the way they are held together. Bukva, his bookcase for Living Divani, is a set of thin folded planes that lean on one another, closer to a drawing than to joinery.
