Bosforo sofa

Sezgin Aksu and Silvia Suardi’s design partnership is based on the successful blend of different cultures. An approach they adopted once again when designing the Bosforo sofa and armchair, creating an original combination of materials.

The overall effect is that of the harmonious visual continuity of the surfaces and, at the same time, a pleasant material contrast. Bosforo has a measured, well-calibrated style to offer just the right level of comfort.

The outsides of the armrests and backrest are covered in Saddle Extra leather, sewn directly, with skilful raw edge finish, to the insides upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. The Bosforo sofa and armchair are also available completely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. The structure is made from solid poplar and beech and birch plywood panels. The spring system of the seat consists of elastic belts, the padding is in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The backrest and armrest cushions are padded in goose down and polyester staple with polyurethane foam insert. Steel feet with ruthenium finish.
