Arflex
Botolo - 50th anniversary armchair
Designed by Cini Boeri in 1973, Botolo introduced a new way of sitting: its tubular metal legs could be specified at different heights, offering either a high dining-height chair or a low, grounded lounge seat, with castors built into the legs for easy movement.
This 50th anniversary edition celebrates five decades since Botolo's debut, with arflex's original design intent intact: a soft, radical armchair on a metal and poplar multiply wood frame, with moulded polyurethane foam upholstered in fabric, leather or fur.
