Mondrian console
The Mondrian console was drawn by Jean-Marie Massaud to sit behind the Mondrian sofa, though it is just as at home in a hallway or against a wall on its own. Like the coffee tables in the same collection, it pairs a metal base with a thin top, and the contrast between the two is the whole idea.
The top can be wood, marble or lacquer in gloss or matt, so the console can be matched to the Mondrian sofa and coffee tables or set against them.
Materials and finishes
Base in polished cast bronze or painted die-cast aluminium. Top in veneered or lacquered panel, or marble.
