Soori Day lounge outdoor armchair

Soori Day lounge is the larger, lower member of Soo Chan's Soori outdoor collection for Poliform. It is a round, low-slung seat designed as a small island for the garden or terrace, somewhere to settle into rather than perch on.

The woven backrest gives the piece its character, a braided band of tape around a steel frame that is easy on the eye and comfortable to lean into. Deep seat and back cushions are covered in outdoor fabric chosen for its feel as much as its weather resistance, and the chair sits on swivel castors so it can be turned toward the sun or the conversation.

Materials and finishes

Frame in painted stainless steel, wrapped in polypropylene tape with a woven tape backrest. Seat and cushions are filled with recycled PET polyester with a polyurethane insert, under a removable outdoor fabric cover.
