Refinement, materiality and the complete interior.
Our Milan Design Week 2026 report looks across the Studio Italia brands, with new releases and key presentations from Poliform, Flexform, Living Divani, Kettal, Poltrona Frau, Arflex, Zanotta, Alinea, Lualdi and Knoll.

Poliform
Poliform presented one of the most complete visions of the home, spanning living, dining, kitchen, wardrobe, night and outdoor. The collection reinforced the brand’s strength in creating interiors that feel architectural, refined and deeply resolved.
Key launches included the Savoy sofa by Jean-Marie Massaud, defined by a lacquered back designed to be seen from all sides, and the Lanai bed system, with a double-sided headboard that allows it to sit more freely within a room.
Other highlights included the Harp kitchen, Vortice dining table, Neo Concorde table, Auguste dining chair, Victoria chair, Alfred armchair, Attimo chaise longue, Orbis armchair, and new outdoor pieces including Shore, Henry lounger, Curve table and Ponte armchair.
Flexform
Flexform continued its evolution of comfort, proportion and material detail. The 2026 collection was understated rather than theatrical, with a focus on pieces that feel generous, refined and carefully resolved.
New indoor highlights included the Quincy sectional sofa, Everett sofa, Justine dining chair, Avalon chair, Marquis table, Tara table, Clarence cabinet and Louise coffee tables.
Outdoor was also a strong focus, with the Margherì family of sofas, chairs and daybeds, alongside Everett sofa, Bouté side table and Tara dining table.

Living Divani
Living Divani’s 2026 collection continued its precise, architectural approach. The key launch was the Neera sofa by Piero Lissoni, with generous volumes and inclined cushions that create comfort without visual heaviness.
Other highlights included The Edge sofa, Fillet Lounge armchair, Haven armchair, Ponte dining table, Orbi coffee table, Pagoda coffee table, Ad-astra lamp, Sailor Float sideboard, Greene bed, Fillet Lounge and Kasumi table.
The collection felt restrained, exacting and sculptural, true to Living Divani’s ability to create pieces that sit lightly, but with real presence.
Kettal
Kettal marked its 60th anniversary with a presentation that looked beyond outdoor furniture into architecture, workplace and design culture.
New pieces included the Grosso sofa by Patricia Urquiola, Atlantic chair by Jasper Morrison, Alize sofa by Vincent Van Duysen, Tilos sofa by Antonio Citterio and Globo lamp by Miguel Milá. Workplace and architectural systems were also a focus, with Shogun chair by Verner Panton, Area table by Foster + Partners and U-Type chair by Barber & Osgerby.
A major highlight was the Eames House Exhibition at Triennale Milano, alongside the Eames Pavilion System, which translates the logic of the Eames House into a flexible architectural structure.
Poltrona Frau
Poltrona Frau’s 2026 collection, True Over Time, focused on longevity, craft and design that becomes more meaningful with use.
Key launches included the Archibald sofa system by Jean-Marie Massaud, Blisscape sofa and Blisscape Deep sofa by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, Cuiré low table, Esedra pouf and Kubaya ottoman.
The collection also included the LieLow bed and nightstands by Faye Toogood, Stock N Roll bedside table by Sebastian Herkner, DressCove night system, Abigail table by Roberto Lazzeroni, Archibald Slim dining chair, Viola Essence, and lighting additions including Tullissè lamp, Gio Ponti Oro lamp, Moonbeam lamp and Nymph Air lamp.

Arflex
Arflex continued to balance new designs with its historic icons. The 2026 presentation highlighted pieces including Càmila sofa by Claesson Koivisto Rune, Deca sofa by Tito Agnoli, Antea chair by David Dolcini and Treboli sofa by Jaime Hayon, alongside new chrome, gold and black nickel finishes.
The brand’s strength remains its softer, more characterful Italian design language, with generous upholstery, expressive forms and enduring icons such as the Marenco sofa and Botolo chairs.

Zanotta
Zanotta’s 2026 story was especially strong, with a focus on Carlo Mollino and the brand’s role in preserving and reinterpreting Italian design history.
A key launch was the Vertebra table, based on a Carlo Mollino project. The Fredrigo sofa by Vincent Van Duysen was expanded with new curved and asymmetrical modules, while Van Duysen also introduced the Campa table and Campa chair.
The Pianoalto sofa was also updated with curved elements and new padding, reinforcing Zanotta’s balance of experimentation, heritage and contemporary comfort.

Alinea
Alinea brought a more collectible design perspective, with a focus on material-led pieces, limited objects and the boundary between furniture, sculpture and craft. This year saw the introduction of Via Via coffee table and a seating collection called Twin.

Lualdi
Lualdi presented the door as part of a wider architectural system. Its Milan presentation focused on wall units, panelling, niches, illuminated shelves and integrated opening mechanisms, with pivot, hinged and sliding doors absorbed into continuous wall surfaces.
The result was a compelling reminder that doors, walls and storage are no longer separate elements, but part of the complete architecture of an interior.

Knoll
Knoll’s 2026 presentation brought together art, architecture and furniture. A key launch was the debut collection by artist and sculptor Dozie Kanu, including console, coffee and side tables.
The brand also expanded the Muecke Wood Collection with a lounge chair, coffee table and side table, and extended the Biboni collection by Johnston Marklee with a lounge chair with ottoman and new sectional elements.
The Morrison Hannah Chair revival was also highlighted, reinforcing Knoll’s ongoing ability to connect contemporary design with its architectural heritage.

Milan confirmed that the most compelling design is often found in refinement: a sofa considered from every angle, a table treated as architecture, a door absorbed into the wall, an outdoor piece elevated for interior life, or a historic design carefully brought into the present.
